How can I use Herblab.org?

As you see on the Main Page, we put 2 kinds of indexes for you to search the herbs you need. One is by the herbs name and the other is by the name of cancers. Both of them are listed in alphabetical order so that you can easily find what you need.

Can I understand the Chinese prescriptions?

Sure you can. We have done a lot of work to make the prescription more concise and easier to be comprehended by western readers and visitors. For example, some names of the formulas or prescriptions in traditional Chinese medicine are too long when translated into English, so we used italic Chinese pinyin instead of its long English equivalents, and added an explanation after them whenever we think it is necessary as far as understanding is concerned.

Can I use the prescription?

We strongly advise you NOT, you'd better consult your medical doctor when you want to use the prescription on Herblab.org, because our original aim is to research and just for you reference. Any questions, mail to: herblab.org@gmail.com

Do the herbs have latins?

Yes. Every herb mentioned on Herblab.org has latin name. We put them in italic types, which can be easily distinguished.
