Herba Pteridis Multifidae(凤尾草)

ANTICANCER PHARMACOLOGICAL FUNCTIONS
1．It has been proved that the herb inhibits sarcoma•1 80，sarcoma。37 and Walker’s cancer‘256 in rats． 2．Radix Pteridis Multifidae showed an inhibition rate of 30—50％on Yoshida’s sarcoma of rats
EXPERIMENTAL FORMULAS:
For chorioepithelioma and malignant hydatidiform mole：
Herba Pteridis Multifidae 60g Radix Gei 60g Hielianthus annucis 1
A decoction of the herbs is taken once daily in succession for six months．(Zhejiang Bulletin Science and Technology，V01．2，1972) For cancer of the large intestine：
Herba Pteridis Multifidae 30g Rhizoma Smilacis Chinensis 30g Bolus Rubra 30g Limonitum cum Terra 30g ne decoction of the herbs is taken daily．(Manual of Practical Anticancer Drugs)
